About Us

Founded in the fall of 2020 in response to the Flooding Crisis in our home province of British Columbia, Riverside Rescue provides industry leading water rescue technicians and safety teams for any project or need.

With the destruction of major provincial infrastructure, there was an immediate need for moving water safety specialists.  As the operator of one of the provinces leading Whitewater Rafting companies, Sam Charvet was in a perfect position to organize a team of industry veterans to provide hazard assessment and moving water safety for the reconstruction efforts in the town of Merritt BC, and along the Coquihalla highway corridor.

Each of our team members has between 10 and 35 years of industry experience including instructors for various aspects of rescue.  We are able to deploy on short notice for emergency situations as well as for planned projects.

Our experts can drastically expand the technical safety around any work site or project.  We can provide full site safety coverage as well as providing specific safety technicians for other companies needing more experience.

Many companies do not focus on water rescue and have technicians with Swift Water Awareness, an online course.  Otherwise they may have taken the rescue technician course but do not have any real world experience outside of their training.  At Riverside we only have highly experienced safety technicians and provide our teams continuous at work training.

Our team can create dynamic safety plans along with helping mentor the newer technicians on other rescue teams.
